Lawyer Experience and Assistance at a Fixed Low Price

Clients prefer to know the exact cost of a service or, if that is not possible, a very close estimate. We try to meet that expectation. We can only do so where we know what we have to do, and the scope of the service is not subject to change. If you're in litigation, for example, you must not only play your part, but you must react to what the other party does. The same is true where you are subject to serious review by some government agency. While it is true that what we submit on your behalf to the Arizona Corporation Commission when we form a corporation or limited liability company is subject to review by the Arizona Corporation Commission, that review is limited and we know by experience the scope of that review. This is not the case, for example, if the service involved taking a position with respect to a tax matter which the IRS opposes.

The scope of the service can also be changed by you, or by the other party you're dealing with with respect to an agreement or other matter. In other words, if a service involves any substantial "reviewing and editing" by anyone other than our firm, it becomes difficult to supply a very close estimate, let alone an exact cost. In such cases, we will give you an exact cost or a very close estimate with respect to what we must do, and we will tell you that whether or not there will be additional costs depends upon what is done in the "reviewing and editing" stage, whether it is you or someone else who is doing the reviewing and editing. We will also give you tips on minimizing your costs and on dealing with attorneys generally.

The bottom line is that the relationship between us is based upon fundamental fairness of each of us to the other, the reasonable expectations that each of us has when the relationship commences.
